Dr. Nordstrom graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Medicine in 1987. After completing his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1992 he joined Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Ltd. in Milwaukee. In January 2006 he and his partners merged with the physicians of Layton Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, S.C., becoming Greater Milwaukee Otolaryngology, LLC, a single specialty group of eight physicians.
His practice encompasses all aspects of otolaryngology, with special interest in medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, head and neck cancer surgery, and E.N.T. manifestations of reflux. He and his partners pride themselves on compassionate, comprehensive, “state-of-the-art” care.
He has served as Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee and is the Section Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Sinai Medical Center. He is currently Chairman of the Laser Safety Committee and a member of the Cancer Committee and Credentials Committee at St. Luke’s. He is an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Otolaryngology, at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has been involved with the training of otolaryngology, internal medicine and family practice resident physicians at St. Luke’s Medical Center. He is past President of The Milwaukee Society of Head and Neck Medicine and Surgery, a member of numerous medical societies and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Nordstrom has been an invited speaker at local, regional, and national meetings, talking on a variety of subjects within his specialty. He has been included in “Top Physicians in America” and voted by his peers as one of the “Best Physicians in America,” the physician to whom they would send their family to see for Otolaryngology treatment.
