David S. Lee, MD, FACS

Dr. Lee was born in Philadelphia and raised in the Detroit area.  He received his premedical and medical education at the University of Michigan.  Afterwards, he went on to do biomedical research in both head & neck cancer and inner ear molecular biology, as well as his specialty training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

After finishing his specialty training, he joined the physician group that is now Greater Milwaukee Otolaryngology, an 8-person single specialty Otolaryngology group, the largest of its kind in the state of Wisconsin and the dominant group member of the Otolaryngology Department of Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, rated as one of the top 50 Otolaryngology departments in the country by US News & World Report.  As part of this group, he practices the full range of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, including diagnosing and managing diseases of the sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. Otolaryngologists diagnose, treat and manage specialty-specific disorders as well as many primary care problems in both children and adults.

Dr. Lee has participated in lectures & presentations to various community groups, as well as participating in teaching of Otolaryngology specialty trainees from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Family practice trainees from Aurora St. Luke’s and Aurora Sinai Medical Centers.  He has also had the opportunity to apply his medical skills overseas, from post-earthquake medical relief work in Turkey to primary care clinics in rural Mexico, to Otolaryngology specialty teaching in Kenya.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn son, as well as running and biking, and church activities as well.
